Payment and Refund Policy

Last updated on 18 September 2026.

Scope of This Policy

This Payment and Refund Policy applies to all purchases of courses and resources offered by editorzep. These include digital materials on article planning, script editing, newsroom coordination and production-ready media content. The policy covers individual course access, subscription packages and any bundled editorial workflow tools. It does not apply to free resources or third-party services accessed through our platform.

Prices, Currencies, Taxes and Additional Charges

All prices are displayed in British Pounds Sterling. Value Added Tax at the current UK rate is included where applicable. No hidden fees apply for standard access. Currency conversion charges may arise if you pay from outside the United Kingdom. We reserve the right to adjust prices for new purchases but existing contracts remain at the agreed rate.

Accepted Payment Methods, Authorisation and Security

We accept major credit and debit cards processed through secure third-party gateways. Payment authorisation occurs immediately upon order submission. All transactions use encryption compliant with UK data protection standards. We do not store full card details on our systems. Authorisation failures result in order cancellation without charge.

Order Confirmation and Contract Formation

After submitting an order you receive an email confirmation detailing the items purchased and total amount. A binding contract forms once we send this confirmation and process payment successfully. Access credentials are issued within one business day of successful payment.

Cancellation Rights and Periods

Under UK consumer law you have 14 days from the date of contract formation to cancel without giving a reason. This cooling-off period applies unless you have started accessing the digital content. For subscriptions the 14-day period begins on the first payment date. Cancellations must be submitted in writing via the contact form on our site.

Refund Eligibility and Exclusions

Refunds are available during the 14-day cooling-off period provided no substantial content has been accessed. Once you begin streaming or downloading course materials the right to cancel is lost. Non-refundable items include completed modules, customised resources and any promotional bundles where access has started. Refunds are not granted for change of mind after the cooling-off period expires.

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund send a clear message through the contact form on our Contacts page. Include your order number, full name, email address and a brief explanation. You may also post a written request to 16 High Holborn, London, WC1V 6BX, United Kingdom. Requests must be received within the applicable time limit to be considered valid.

Inspection, Approval and Notification

We review each request within five business days of receipt. Our team checks whether access has occurred and confirms eligibility. You receive email notification of the decision. If approved we issue a refund confirmation. If rejected we explain the reason and outline any remaining options.

Refund Processing and Timelines

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Processing takes up to ten business days after approval. Bank transfer times vary by provider but funds typically appear within fourteen days. We notify you once the refund has been sent.

Special Rules for Digital Content and Services

Digital courses are supplied immediately upon payment. By consenting to immediate delivery you acknowledge that your cancellation right ends once access begins. Subscription services renew automatically unless cancelled before the next billing cycle. Promotional offers follow the same eligibility rules unless specific terms state otherwise.

Failed Payments, Duplicates and Chargebacks

Failed payments lead to order suspension until resolved. Duplicate charges are investigated and refunded within seven days of notification. Chargebacks are treated as disputes and may result in account review. Suspected fraudulent activity leads to immediate order cancellation and reporting to relevant authorities where required.

Your Mandatory Consumer Rights

This policy does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. You remain entitled to remedies for faulty digital content including repair, replacement or a price reduction. UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 govern how we handle your personal data during refund processes.

Contact, Changes and Updates

For questions about payments or refunds contact us via the form on our Contacts page or write to 16 High Holborn, London, WC1V 6BX, United Kingdom.
